Wall of success

Why are some people happier than others? Why do some people stay happy when faced with severe adversity? And why are most people happy most of the time? In my ERC project, I aim to understand the dynamic interplay between the genome, the epigenome, and the exposome and integrate my findings into a novel comprehensive framework of well-being. It is still a very large haystack. But the needles are there waiting to be found.

The Text Consultant was the first to really find a way to improve my presentation. After one session, we concluded that the story and the lay-out were at par but that we needed to focus on ‘selling the car’ with a sparkle. With his supportive approach, the Text Consultant succeeded in changing an over-professional presentation into a sparkling event. After three sessions with The Text Consultant, I felt completely ready to convince the ERC Consolidator panel, who awarded me with a 2 million ERC Consolidator Grant.
